Native American Program

Meeting the academic and cultural needs of our Native American students

Tempe Elementary Schools' Native American Program (NAP) utilizes two federally funded programs, Title VI and Johnson-O'Malley (JOM) Programs, focused on raising students' academic achievement, and to meet the specialized and unique educational and culturally-related academic needs of students.

NAP involves Native American parents and the Native American Parent Committee members to provide input into the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the NAP Programs.

All meetings are held from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Bustoz Learning Center (2020 East Carson Dr., Tempe, AZ 85282) unless otherwise noted.

  • July 17, 2025 (Parent meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.)
